申请美国签证需提交社交媒体账号
2019年5月31日，美国国务院更新了移民签证和非移民签证的网上申请表格，就是大家所熟知的DS-260和DS-160表，要求申请人提供过去5年的社交媒体账号。表格内的社交媒体选项几乎包括了平时常用的各种社交媒体，比如facebook，twitter，instagram，linkedin，youtube等，以及在中国常用的新浪微博，腾讯微博，QQ空间，豆瓣等。申请人需提交过去5年的使用过的所有社交媒体的账号。

一、2017年3月6日，特朗普签发的总统备忘录中提到：I directed the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Director of National Intelligence, to conduct a review to “identify whether, and if so what, additional information will be needed from each foreign country to adjudicate an application by a national of that country for a visa, admission, or other benefit under the INA (adjudications) in order to determine that the individual is not a security or public-safety threat.”

二、2018年3月30日，国务院在Federal Register上公示了2份文件（分别针对移民签证和非移民签证），要求相关签证申请人提交过去5年的社交媒体账号。
